Stay Safe This 4th of July

Happy Independence Day from the CreativeStar Team. We hope you stay safe this weekend!

If you’re not celebrating July 4th as you normally would this year, CreativeStar challenges you to get creative, and find alternative ways to celebrate safely! Although many cities and towns across the nation have canceled their public parades, fireworks, and other festivities for the upcoming holiday weekend, health officials warn it is still crucial to continue social distancing this Fourth of July, especially following a recent spike in reported coronavirus cases across the country. While you may attend an annual parade this year, it is important to continue to follow guidelines set by the CDC and your state for all personal plans as well, whether that be a weekend trip, backyard barbeque, or other large gatherings. We’ve compiled simple reminders in accordance with the CDC to stay safe this weekend, continuing to help our efforts of slowing and reducing the transmission of the coronavirus.

First, continue to wear a face covering and to keep a six-foot distance from others in public places. Make sure to keep social gatherings small, frequently disinfect surfaces, and of course, keep washing your hands. Be sure to follow the specific guidelines for your area, which can be found here for Massachusetts. Last, if you feel sick or have any symptoms, stay home. By taking responsibility for yourself and your community to follow these simple precautions, you can be a part of the prevention solution, keeping yourself and the more vulnerable members of your community safe. As always, we hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!
