THE CLIENT

KnowledgeLink is a subsidiary of CIIE. It runs several American high schools in Asia providing education to Citizens of the United States or other countries who currently live in Asia but seek for an international education with English as teaching language. KnowledgeLink has faculties in both Asia and US. It provides high school education to hundreds of students spread out in several compasses. KnowledgeLink also run summer camp for Asian students to visit the United State and get a taste of American Education. It’s headquarter is in Waltham, MA.

OUR GOAL

As a result of business need, KnowledgeLink wanted to separate its domain, and office 365 tenant from its parent company.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

Creativestar need to migrate all the emails and file from KnowledgeLink old tenant to new tenant while keep KnowledgeLink day-to-day business uninterrupted. Create new SharePoint for KnowledgeLink.

OUR APPROACH

Creativestar set up a new Office 365 tenant and negotiate an education package for KnowledgeLink. Migrated emails, files in OneDrive from old tenant to new tenant in multiple-passes. Added newly onboard faculties and students. Moved the domain to the new tenant. Cleaned up everything in the old tenant. Moved the domain to the new tenant. Created new SharePoint Pages for its internal use. Set up permission for each user. Recreated groups, share mail boxed and meeting rooms.
